For the last half hour there has been a total imbecile parked outside my office, periodically repeatedly revving his engine.

The car is a stupid shiny chrome Audi R8. There are two young men of Indian heritage in it.

I'm to concentrate here! He's DOING IT AGAIN NOW!

Other than launching a can of Red Bull at him from my second floor window, what can I do?

You could pop down and ask him to cease.

I KNOW that I could go and ask him to stop, but this being PH and a Friday I was expecting some more creative responses!

sneak downstairs and pour some oil under his car, enough so it trickles out from under the car, go back up stairs then come out in front of him and comment that 'you think theres something wrong with his car' whilst pointing at the oil slick emerging.

Ask him if he traded in an Aston Martin for it in the last couple of weeks?

Go and say:

"Nice Lambo... oh wait, it's just an Audi..."

(For those with R8s I'm not meaning it's a bad car, and I'd love to be able to afford one, it's a comment made in keeping with the thread). smile

Tell him you love the sound of it and ask if he could rev it a bit louder and longer. When he's done that and assuming it's a V8 tell him he should have joined the big boys and bought the V10. If it is a V10 I have no idea what to say next.
