Hi guys, this is my first post on this forum and was hoping for some responses about getting my son his perfect registration plate. The plate than I am enquiring about is 97 JT, Hope to Here some feedback, Thanks in Advance

Auctioned starting at £3000 in Feb 2011.

Do any PH members no if it is owned by a PH member, if not is there any way I can contact the owner ?

not sure about PH member, but no (legal) way to contact owner. Only DVLA and police know owner details and neither can release legally. Try searching ebay or the plate traders. Send a mail to Mr Reg and ask him to keep an eye out for you too.

Got my eye on a great P/Plate from DVLA as it's still available. Can't say what it is until i've bought it! smile

97 JT finally went for £4k + fees.

96 JT currently up for £8,495 + VAT + fees.

I hate to have to say it but, it will be like finding a needle in a haystack. Like xPow said there is no legal way of contacting the owner. The plate doesn't show as being on a vehicle so could be on retention, in a dealers stock.

Eta: It doesn't show in dealers stock I've just checked so likely to be sold to a private individual.
