Hello, I've got an oldish generator (Kawasaki GE4300A) that puts out 3800Watts (4800watts max) and I am looking to get a small Mig welder for minor metal work jobs. Is it feasible to run something like this with this size generator?
It should do. Spec says 13amp requirement Your genset gives you 17.27 more on max. As long as it's 220/240 out? So all being well yes. Interesting though as it must have chopper transformer as the weld is 100amps!!
