Anyone know of any decent tow bar fitters in hampshire? So far all I have been quoted it around the £200 mark which seems silly.

Some cars need quite a lot of work to fit a tow bar and associated electrics so without knowing what car you intend to fit one to, £200 appears to be reasonable value to me.

£200 seems like very good value when you consider that I've just spend 3 weekends taking my car apart to fit a tow bar and wiring...

did you mean to ask cheap or decent!

as others have pointed out, £200 sounds reasonable to me. I know not quite in Hampshire, but Ambrow trailers in Christchurch are very decent smile

We use 'Phil Taylor Towbars' who are based in Horndean, they offer a really good service, but to be honest £200 doesn't sound that bad.

OK thanks for the info. I spoke to a guy who said that £150 was on the expensive side but he hasnt had one done in 5 years. I can't do it so I'll have to stump up. Thanks
