What are the things you regret the most NOT buying?
For me, there was a beautiful turbocharged MX5 in Belfast on Ebay about a year ago. The owner asked for £1800, everything about the car sounded great. I was exchanging emails with the guy for few days but in the end decided not to buy it. I still regret it - it would be a great way to do a road trip around Ireland which I always wanted to do, then drive it back to London and sell it for probably more even if I didn't like the car.
The other one recent. Brilliant swap material for my Vette - a supercharged LS1 engine plus gearbox, ECU. 700BHP, forged internals, bigger injectors etc. Guy wanted £7995, I wanted to pay £6000. It was for sale for a while, now it's gone. There's no way I'll find another one of those with gearbox for £8000 so gutted really...

A mint Honda NSX owned by an acquaintance and real enthusiast. He wanted shot for his next project so offered it to me for £11k, 2 years ago.
I had nowhere to park it at the time, then ironically moved to somewhere with the space 2 months later, but of course it had gone by then
Always regret that one!

Always regret that one!A green 1972 Range Rover with LPG. Wish I bought it. I came so close. Not all bad, I still got the Triumph, but having a V8 lpg car would have been brilliant. I was watching a Family Guy episode the other day, and Peter was having a flashback, and suddenly comes out with the statement 'I could have had a V8!' I know your pain Peter, I know your pain...
