think everyone should ride for a year before drivng unless they're medically unfit to handle a bike. The road awareness you learn when you don't have a metal cage, crumple zones, air bags and seat belts to protect you when you do get in a tin box you are a better driver than the ones who get straight into a car Mummy and Daddy paid for.

I miss my bikes.
