here's a thought, maybe there should be a wiki? :notvolunteering:

On behalf of a colleague..

Circa £20-22k, must be a 4 seater (as a minimum), quick (60 in under 6), relatively new... but.. "different"..

Oh, and apparently he doesn't like to not have the best model... IYSWIM..

He's currently driving a late spec E46 330 Auto, having been seriously burnt by an RX8...

Over to you folks, adverts too if you can to make his life easy...

(Oh, and he's off to look at some Evo Xs at the weekend)...

My god - I saw the price these had fallen to - amazing value for money. I dont know what these cost to run (cant be cheap on consumables) but with a BMW warranty an amazing ownership proposition. Makes a new(ish) low spec / cc BMW seem insane.

Its a 6 year old car with over 60k miles that drinks fuel and has high running costs, doesn't seem that much of a bargain to me smile

Doesn't really fit criteria for being newish, or different, just looks like a run-of-the-mill 5 series with a few extra exhaust tailpipes!

If he likes his BM's then what about a nice and rare 550i M Sport.

or on budget he could have a Merc CLS55 AMG, if he wants a younger car a later non AMG CLS50 is still an awesome car, loads of car for the money so much so I've tempted myself.........

Both awesome uber wagons, if it was me I'd have the AMG.

When you say different I suspect the reality is different so long as it's 100% ordinary and not really different at all.

However.

One of these with the 5.7 or 6.1 V8

SRT8 6.1 Hemi

4.6 Supercharged V8

6.1 litre SRT V8 Hemi

8.3 litre V10 SRT-10

6.0 litre SUPERCHARGED V8
