Can a 17 year old get classic car insurance? just wondering as am doing qoutes for minis, and some are ridiculous!

Mods can feel free to move it to a classic car bit if they want smile

My advice for what its worth is pick up the phone book and ring round you will then find the answer you are looking for.
Whilst the internet is a great place the only way to get the answer is to ask a classic car insurer or two.

Yes. For Minis, Peter D James. For anything over 1500cc, Footman James. HTH.

I think you may struggle to get covered at all on a classic policy whilst you're under 25.

Also, many insurance companies won't issue a classic policy if the car in question is your only car.
