How much to repair a tyre.

How much is it normaly to repair a screw in a tyre. The local garage charges 18 pound. Seems quite a lot. And the tyre only has about 3 mm left. not sure what to do. it needs 2 front anyway.

Sounds about right to be honest, it used to be about a £10'er not so long ago but £18 seems to be the going rate at present.

You need really big spoons to get the tyre off and on though
