Which car???

If you had a choice between these three cars which would it be?

1) 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider, 1 owner, 22k miles, ffsh, F1, blue roof, dark blue leather.
2) 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, 2 owners, 18k miles, famsh, manual, black, black wheels, red leather
3) 2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R, 1 owner, 11k miles, fnsh, kuro black, black edition.

All around the £40k mark.

Have you happened to have a drive of one, i don't know what they're like and i've only ever seen a handful on the road.

The way I see it is that the Aston and the fezza are more a posers car where as the GT-R is more performance orientaed

Aston! Will feel like a really "special" car whilst still not costing too much to maintain!

Unfortunately it's silver, i had a 2002 coupe in silver which would have been a lot nicer in red but it does still look nice with the blue roof.

I should have really mentioned that i've had both the ferrari 360 (coupe) and the AMV8 before, great cars which i wouldn't mind owning again. I suppose i'm more interested in what people have got to say about the GT-R and it's comparison.

Probably the GTR, though nothing wrong with the 360. All Aston Martins are tacky, IMHO.

Depends what car(s) you already own really, and what you've had in the past.

For me, it'd be the GTR, just because I want to experience just how much all the electronics, etc, change the feel of a car.

It's the default choice for anyone who's got the money but doesn't care about cars. I always used to like Astons but the 2003-2007 pre-recession monthly payment bonanza ruined them, they're everywhere.

I'd be after a DB7 GT but out of your list the Vantage.

All are competent to at least some degree, so sounds to me like you have to decide whether or not you (or anyone for that matter):


Wants crushing competence & doesn't give a st about image -- GTR

Wants image & pose factor (real cool has probably gone, if it was ever really there) -- Aston

Want the soul (or apparent soul) and are prepared to pay the entry and ongoing fee -- Dobbin


Then again, having owned none of the above, what would I know?
TBH, I wouldn't go for any of them anyway, but that's just me.
