right, the wifes had her c3 picasso for 12 months now, and i had enough of the blah blah blah of driving it.
so i need a PH estate under the 10k mark. the lower the running costs, the better obviously.
her fuel and insurance costs are about £150 per month, and dont really want to hit £200.
nothing RS6 like please, i dont want her to kill herself.

CAN NOT HAVE A PH ESTATE = SOMETHING BIG AND HEAVY AND NEEDS LOTS OF POWER THAT IS ALSO GOOD ON FUEL AND RUNNING COST.....
How about saying sod it to £10k and buy the best e30 325 or e36 328i touring? You'd have enough money for a minter, plus some left over to modernise it and maybe even look at an MPG conversion.
Fast, rwd, look good(ish) and a good drive.

i printed all out, she picked audi a4 , bmw 3 series and alfa 159
so looks like, alfa it is. just need to find a nice example local to me now.

Don't think you'll get a TI for under 10k yet.
This is a lot of PH estate for under 10k, not much i can think of at only 4 years old to beat it for performance/practicality/comfort, might be a bit pricy to insure with the mods, even though they are factory approved ones from new.
