Knocking after hitting pothole...

Today, driving along, hit a pothole/ sinking midget manhole with front left at c.25mph. Big bang but no visible damage or anything to raise an actual panic.

Tracking is slightly off, wheel facing slightly to left whilst going straight on.
Then as turning right onto my street (weight over front left wheel) there was a couple slight knocks as turning.

Couldn't tell if there is any play in wheel(absolutely knackered and currently lying on sofa half dead )

Paranoid? Track rod end? Ball joint?
I know you can't tell what it is from this, but I'm young, skint and want to learn more about fixing things!

Well, there's obviously something wrong and, as it's affecting the steering, I wouldn't drive it too far without having it checked over. Don't want to sound too dramatic but, you could end up lying somewhere completely dead.

Sounds like Track rod end or something on the steering side of things is busted.....Ufkin potholes... Mrs...Citroen did a pothole last yr....and that end with a buggered Track rod end....it's a cheap fix...but the council should pay for it

Probably more than a track rod end.

Could be bent strut/wishbone or even partly broken

Do not drive and have a look at it asap

I'm a right pleb.

Was a can of deodorant I keep for after work in the passenger door hitting the door. There's receipts on one side so only when turning right it knocks.

I'm going to kick myself in the nuts for this guys

Tracking still needs done and will get it checked over anyway asap!
