Doesnt surprise me one bit.
We had one here went racing through the village with lights and sirens on, went and pulled up and started eating his sandwiches.

Yeah, because I'm sure he blue lighted it through your village just to get to his favourite sandwich spot quicker.

As others have said 'what hope is there!'

I dont suppose he/she was looking for/checking something to do with the central reservation?

Just a thought.

I should imagine this officer was friends with the officer who didn't bother to pull the cyclist who ran a red in plain sight this evening.

Mind boggling.

Nope, well not unless he/she was checking the whole reservation from Guildford to the M25 on the A3 at 7am on a Saturday morning....

I hope you gave him a wavey and a biggrin as you passed in L1, I know I would have done.

How do you know he wasn't looking for something in the central reservation, or perhaps the opposite carriageway?

Not for 5+ miles, and he/she was not looking to the right at any time whilst I was watching.

You should have pulled them over and done a citizens arrest for driving without due care and attention...

My eyeballs have this amazing ability to rotate in their sockets. Can't yours do the same?

I've seen the Police Focus ST that usually goes hunting on the south side of the M25 down onto the M23 sitting in the middle lane before with little traffic. The last time I just indicated round him and moved back into the inside lane. A few seconds later he followed. How high and mighty I felt but ultimately what a complete saddo I am for getting excited by something like this!

This evening on the M4 near Reading watched a Clio go from lane 1 to lane 2 with no indication causing the car in Lane 2 along side to hit the brakes and swerve into lane 3. After i passed the young lad in the Clio i noticed he was chatting on his mobile firmly glued to his ear........wker!
