e30 M3 convertible?

At a show the other day I saw what looked like an e30 M3 convertible. I didn't think they ever made one, so was it a DIY job? It looked pretty good, and I know the M3 was more than a bodykit body-wise so would have been a lot of effort to do.

It was the right colour (red) and was a left hooker as well, which was what made me think. If somebody was going to make their normal e30 cab look like an M3 wouldn't they start with a RHD car?

Blimey. Seems a bit at odds with the e30 M3 ethos - race car for the road . I imagine they're a bit floppy...

The RHD bit does seem a little strange though. I'm sure birds will have converted an odd convertible.

It was LHD which was what made me think it was genuine.
