Car Insurance Woes!

Just recieved a letter to discuss the renewal of my car insurance for the BMW. I gave them a call to find out how much the renewal was, and bearing in mind I paid £900 for this years policy, he came back with £2850!!!
I just burst out laughing and said thanks but no thanks and rang Adrian Flux, who I have a policy with at the moment with on the Skyline. They've been good in the past, especially when quoting me on my 32, but I didnt laugh half as hard when even they quoted me £2200!
I told him to go sit on his biro and he said hold the line while he goes and speaks to his manager. Barely 2 minutes later he came back and had knocked £950 off the price to £1250. I told him i'd have a ring about and see what I can do
Now I know insurance has gone up in the last couple of years but only 5 months ago I rung Flux to see how much they could quote me in the hope to cancel my current policy and defect to them. In january just gone they quoted me £600, so over 50% increase in 5 months! Bearing in mind I only pay £420 FC for my stage 1 Skyline GTR!
So I ask you guys and girls. Who are you with at the moment?

I am with admiral under the multicar and the prices work out very reasonably.
Me - 21 y.o on a E92 335i, 3 points - just over £800
Brother - 19 y.o on a 1.25 fiesta style - £650ish
Mum - 50's on a 1.4 fiesta - £30....I kid you not!
It may be the way forward especially as you seem to have more than 1 car
