And why more cars don't!?
Because the space could be better utilised?Changing the track/volume on your stereo is done more often than the temp - most people I know simply set and leave the temp

The Volvo has stereo controls on one side of the steering wheel and cruise control buttons on the other.I personally change the temp settings quite alot.
Just thinking it would be nice to have, say, four areas on the wheel, such as top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right then there's plenty of room for audio, data, cruise and temp controls.
would be so nice to have a four small buttons for temp + / - and fan speed + / -

Ive never found it a problem myself, just move my left hand off the steering wheel adjust the temp or fan speed, and place back on the wheel.
Takes a few seconds, rather than having more buttons cluttering up the wheel.
Stereo + phone controls, on the wheel are fine but climate, really?!

I guess there's no UK cars other than a few toyotas/lexi with this option of climate controls on the steering wheel!
I still would like to know if there are any other UK cars with this option however. I thought Volvo S80 might have, but no. BMW E65/E66 (bangle butt one) might have, but no.
