What cars Have Climate Controls on Steering Wheel?

I remember seing an old youtube video for an american town car that had aircon and climate controls on the steering wheel and thought it was pretty neat.

Does anyone know of any UK cars that offer this feature? I can not think of any!

Seems to be only toyota then? the US camry has them too, but i'm still wondering what other UK manufacture cars provide them, if any. And why more cars don't!?

My E39 Alpina B10 had a button for the climate control recirculating air function on the wheel if that counts?

Because the space could be better utilised?
Changing the track/volume on your stereo is done more often than the temp - most people I know simply set and leave the temp smile

I personally change the temp settings quite alot.

Just thinking it would be nice to have, say, four areas on the wheel, such as top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right then there's plenty of room for audio, data, cruise and temp controls.

would be so nice to have a four small buttons for temp + / - and fan speed + / -

i think some of the newer fords (new focus) have a d pad on one side of the wheel and a load of buttons on the other (aka ps3 controller). Put that with a heads up display they might also have done) and you're onto a winner

Ive never found it a problem myself, just move my left hand off the steering wheel adjust the temp or fan speed, and place back on the wheel.

Takes a few seconds, rather than having more buttons cluttering up the wheel.

Stereo + phone controls, on the wheel are fine but climate, really?!

I guess there's no UK cars other than a few toyotas/lexi with this option of climate controls on the steering wheel!

I still would like to know if there are any other UK cars with this option however. I thought Volvo S80 might have, but no. BMW E65/E66 (bangle butt one) might have, but no.

IMHO

only horn should be on steering wheel

all the other crap is making people lazy cos its soooooo far to reach the normal center of car for radio, heating controls etc

what next gear change on the wheel

indicators on the wheel instead of the stalks, NAR cos no one indicates now

Why do you want to know? Are you really going to buy a car on the strength it has climate buttons on the steering wheel?
