Just wondered if anyone heard the feature on Stag Dos and the guy who was doing a very Pistonhead event.

Went along the lines of: shed for a grand, took them for a day at Bedford Autodrome, run at Santa Pod and they're currently on the way to the Nurburgring.

Surprised this hasn't made its way to these hallowed pages.

Still expensive, time consuming and a bit difficult to lash it up.

Been on a few that have involved various petrol powered off roading or karting etc, find the right place and it's amazing fun, cheap and just takes the middle of a Saturday out, far more accessible. Best one was quads at a place on the Welsh /Hereford border did a bit of 'go give them hell on the track to get used to them'. Then a hugh trek through rivers, up mountains, across fields and through forests all as fast as the slowest person could manage. Ended with another 'now you now how to ride go race amongst yourselves'. Was like being naughty school kids again!
