GET THE fk OFF MY ROOF

Next doors cat has taken to sleeping on my MX-5 roof, leaving a lovely pile of fur & dirt for me in the morning.

I know there is little point in complaining to them about it, ultimately a cat has no control over it.

What can I do? Chilli powder sprinkled on the top? Armed guard posted outside?

Don't soak the cat with a hose because the cat can become ill if it gets too cold and drenching it is a surefire way to achieve this. Plenty of people train their cats to stop scratching furniture with a plant mister or a small water pistol. It startles and annoys the cat enough to make them select another sleeping spot. The only downside of course is that you have to spend a little while being vigilant instead of relaxing in front of the telly. Failing that though you're best off with a lawn sprinkler and a motion detector...

Easiest thing is as you say - sprinkle a bit of pepper on there.

It'll soon find somewhere else to spread evilness.

Pepper can do the trick or even orange peel.
Something to do with the fact that cats can't sneeze so it sends them crazy.

Sprinkle cat nip over the roof and I can guarantee the cat won't be sleeping on the roof anymore


Edit: but seriously, cats hate citrus so put some of that round the car.
