Mobility Scooter, Lawnmower and granddad with to much time!

This is very much a work in progress so please overlook the lack of finesse displayed with the finish! My Dad was down the dump a few weeks ago, phoned me to say he'd picked up a mobility scooter. He may be retired, but I didn't think he was that far gone yet. So My (3 yr old) son was, to say the least, rather pleased when we went to visit at the weekend...

Speed is waaay more than adequate for a 3 yr old with the large ride on lawnmower wheels!

100% correct!

I remember being around 5/6 and my dad trying to shoehorn a lawnmower engine into a pedal go kart in the shed! It didn't work but I loved being in the shed with him "helping"

Indeed! It wasn't removed gratis, but what he paid for it would barely cover a couple of pints so mustn't grumble! I've now got an electric golf cart for conversion into a second one for races
