cashing tax disc in

anyone offer advice on this just purchased a car to use as spares for mine but its got 6months tax on it which will never get used .

can i tax this in even the car is not insured

Yep, SORN the car and get the tax refunded

Get the form from the PO and send it away you only get back the full months but get the money back its better for you to have it than the thieving GOv.

Make sure you get it in the post before last day of the month, otherwie you'll lose that month - and tick the box to confirm SORN as reason for cashing it in.

V14 form from the Post Office. I did mine this week.
