Help with a colour scheme for my racer!

I need to give the old girl a good going over with some new colours but I really can't decide what scheme to go for.

I was thinking JPS livery as it's been a favourite of mine since time began but then I thought it might look a bit daft. Now I've moved on to a black base with red detailing or something similar. I'd prefer darker colours simply as it's easier to maintain and doesn't show up as much when you touch wheels or rub bodywork with anyone else.

Being useless with Photoshop and without having the time (and being well aware that there's some nifty designers on here), I'm happy to pass some beer tokens to anyone that fancies coming up with a good colour scheme for the car - hell I'll even put your name on it if you want!

Personally, I quite like some of the Sunoco designs that have appeared over the years. There have been some good Martini based designs too. I do like Gulf colours but they seem to be on everything these days.
