GT-R (R33) can be 2WD?

Is it possible to only have 2WD selectable in the GT-R? Interesting... I thought they were all full time 4WD.

or they've swapped to GTS-T running gear which is RWD? quite a common swap for drifters I believe...

I think it's just a case of pulling a fuse under the bonnet but i heard it can cause damage on the R33's and 34's. I believe they also take a shaft off to run on the dyno, but from memory R32's run fine with just the fuse pulled? You can also get a grid dancer which i believe does the same sort of thing altering the torque split.

You can pull a fuse on the R32, R33 and R34 usually require either some electronic gizzmos to control where the power goes or people remove the front prop from the transfer box.

any skyline gtr can be easily made 2wd, it can even be done by just simply pulling the 4wd fuse in the fuseboard, no need to fit the gtst box or remove the front propshaft. But the most common way is to fit a form of attessa controller so you can dial in exactly how much power split you want/need, you can go all the way from full 4wd to 2wd only with the turn of a dial. Just go onto the gtroc and type in 4wd controller
