What's happened to Gordon Murray's city car?

Having spoken with them in Berlin about it, it's coming...just a case of funding. The words used were 'we've no intentions of becoming a manufacturer'.
So until someone buys the rights to the T.25/ T.27 then it probably won't surface. But from what I gathered, more people are interested in the iStream process than the car itself.

Can't help but think it's still born, and has been for some time.
He's pitched it to countless companies and it's still yet to progress beyond the concept stage AFAIK. One thing they can do is pull the various processes and tech from the concept and sell them off separately under licence, so I can't see it being a total failure in that respect, I just can't see it getting into manufacture given it's failed to find investment after a significant amount of time.

Actually in fairness I don't have much against the car itself. Ok I think its likely to cost stupid amounts to buy, despite all the marketing blurb harping on about low costs and how cheap it'll be to produce.But its things like this:
In a lot of places/countries it's illegal to park like this. So as a concept to promote the idea its very misplaced.
But my favourite is this piece of creative stupidity:

Yet Gordon seems to propose running 2 cars in a single lane as though it's a sensible idea?

Not too mention in this picture it shows a dangerously small distance between the T25's compared to normal cars. Would you seriously want to be doing 70mph and have someone only 2 inches from your door?

I thought he liked Smarts, but he's obviously never driven one with skinny tyres in a crosswind (mine has wide tyres and it still twitches).
