Imperial Fine thread bolt

Hi Guys and gals.

Need some help, Trying to trace anyone who can supply Imperial fine thread bolts.
Took my sisters Talbot express campervan in for the mot and its missing a bolt from the top of the rear suspension.

However not as simple as it seems as its not available anywhere I've tried.

2.5 inch - 17mm

Has LOBO 8.8 stamped on the head if this helps at all.

UNF (assuming it's that) should be available from most industrial/engineering fastener suppliers.
It won't be a B&Q/Halfords job though.

But if its a frenchy the it will be metric

Right sorry guys posting on the move. And Bolt types isnt my thing, I was told imperial fine by local Motor Factors Its an 1988 van so guess this is why he said imperial.

Tried all the usual suspects industrial supllies etc None have them,

2.5 inch long
17mm head
9 mm bolt diameter

Pitch I dont know sorry.

You need to count out a number of threads on the bolt, say, ten. Then measure the distance from the start to the finish. Say it comes out as 15mm. Divide the distance, by the number of threads you measured, 1.5mm That is the pitch. The distance between threads along the long axis at any point. Once you've got that number, finding a bolt will be easy, i use westfield fasteners website from time to time, it's great, pretty sure you'd find what you need there.

I have always found Namrick have what I need, U.N.F, U.N.C, B.S.F, Metric, they have them all.
The web site gives bolt specs as well, so you should be able to track down what you need.
