VAUXHALL ZAFIRA VXR

Hi all im new to this site but have heard loads of good about it!! im currently carless :-( and in the market big time however my problem is kids lots of kids and i need an mpv :-) but all is not lossed i hope? i fancy the zafira vxr! so i need info lots of it good bad etc etc whats the major faults with them etc its got to be a vxr and not the older gsi model(not enough power) ive owned a couple of mg's and my favourite car so far was my mondeo st220 (amazing car) anyway back to business who can guide me on my quest to own or not to own a zafira vxr 2006 model ???????? HELP

If you have a lot of kids then a Zafira just isn't going to wide enough, they are incredibly narrow, and ride like bricks on stilts. In all honesty I think you might do better to look at the Ford S-Max 2.5t, it is much more practical, more comfortable and it has the engine out of a Focus ST so it goes like stink too.

mmm food for thought there i have 4 kids to be honest lol well thats lots n lots! i hadn thought of the ford i would be a bigger ford fan than vauxhall anyday!! thanks

It's not fast but a Mazda 5 2.0 Sport uses the C-Max floorpan so handles well. I had a 1.8 and it could be piloted at sufficient velocity and I was checking out some ads one day and was surprised to see they did a lowering kit for them.

I've only ever driven two Zafiras and hated them both instantly (even thouggh I liked the Astra Mk IV).
