Cherished plate transfer

Its been a while since Ive transfered a plate so need some help.

Can you transfer a plate onto a car with the new keepers supplement?

If I take the MOT and V5 plus tax disc of the car the plate is coming off with the new keeper supplement and MOT of the car I want to transfer the plate onto?

Hi Chris,
If you only have the new keepers supplement you will need to complete a V62 and a V317. You can download from here
http://www.primoregistrations.co.uk/misc/dvla-form...

Taking the completed forms, along with the existing V5C, MOT certificates (both if applicable), along with a photocopy of each tax disc, and the V5C/2 you should be able to get it sorted.

I do actually have the full V5 as it was a repo - does this make things easier?

Yup - very straight forward. But I assume the current V5 will show the previous owner which I'm sure you won't want the new details to go to??
