Very odd ring tone, and then a very odd bloke- Told him he'd replied to my ad. He started wittering on about "Why you not reply my message?"
Very, very entertaining. Please feel free to ring and record the responses. I told him he was an idiot and hung up, plenty more fun to be had I reckon!
Double scammed!
Got a few of these when I advertised a car a few weeks ago. Played along and it ended up with him sending me a fake Paypal email supposedly showing that he had paid £500 too much to Paypal, and paypal wouldn't release the money (or even acknowledge it existed!) until I pay him back.
I did get an address for him, but it was a couple of hundred miles away in that there London. Still, if i'm ever down that way I might throw a brick through the window or something.
