My wife works at a special needs school a few miles from us, surrounded by a council estate. A guy in the St opposite the school was in the habit of putting two police traffic cones outside his house to keep his parking space (parking isnt that bad during the day, as most of the residents work for a living, and the limited number of school staff that need to park arrive after everyone's gone to work and leave by 4pm). He started getting a bit lairy with the school staff, who are primarily 30 something woman ( so a real hard man ). To the point the police came wag a finger at him and confiscated his cones.

All went quiet until he started parking up to peoples bumpers and staring out of his window when they were trying to get out. Today my wife comes home and it turns out he has got into her car via the tail gate which doesnt always lock climbed to the front of the car, he has then let off the handbrake and pushed her car off the road onto the pavement, then put his own car in the space ??

When she has realised what has happened after work he has shot out of his house and started getting into her face with a waggy finger....now I do sorta feel sorry for him at this point because Mrs Smiley is a lovely lady till roused....and this got her from 0 to very roused in about 3 seconds....by all accounts you could hear his testicles climb back up into his body and hide from ten feet away.

I'm half amused by the fact that someone is so obviously blithering mad....and a bit bemused that a grown man thinks this is o.k behaviour because he had to walk an extra ten feet to get to his front door!!!

Report him to the police. Technically what he did was taking without consent, he was never given permission to enter and/or control the vehicle. He could also possibly be done for driving uninsured as he wasn't covered to be in control of the vehicle.

So get on the phone to the police and/or pay him a visit.

If he has been in your wifes car report to the police that you suspect something has been broken. The threat of a criminal damage charge, coupled with breaking into a car that has been parked legally should annoy him.

It is also more measured than my first thought that was to go and ask him what the fk he thinks he is doing, then kick him in the bks for making you miss the womens tennis.

Actually just read the bit about him having a go at your wife I'd have been to see him before posting on here regardless of how much of an ear-bashing she gave him.

Report the weird fcensoredker. TWOC sounds about right, though vehicle interference might also apply.

No real excuse for his behaviour but you have to live next to a school to appreciate the utter selfishness some parents have (OP....I'm not classing your OH as one of these and I gather she is a teacher also!).

I came close to slashing tyres of parents who would leave their cars virtually in the middle of the road so traffic could not pass; at best, in single file.

Once before my Mother called me to say that she had got back from work and someone had parked on her driveway and could not get out as someone else had blocked the driveway with their car. Commedy ensued as Mum a Copper at the time.

OP....no excuses for nutter entereing your OH's property though.

Buy a snotter, fill with C4, park in his space then wire C4 det. to the handbrake switch. Leave car unlocked. Problem solved.

On a slightly less radical and sarcastic note - report him. TWOC, uninsured. If he is already known to the BiB for being a nasty piece of work then they are likely to follow up.

It is important to point out this isn't a comprehensive school with a thousand kids being driven in every day by insane mums in 4x4's its a small specialist unit for handicapped children, on the edge of town that are bused in...there are plenty of free spaces because unlike this total tt, his neighbours work for a living.

I have just spoken to the beat officer for the area...funnily enough, he's not a big fan of blokes that break into womens cars and then give them a mouthful trying to scare them stless....and he was rolling his sleeves up in a fairly purposeful manner as he walked to his car.

If it wasn't for the fact my wife quietly and politely ( when she goes quiet and polite with me, believe me I start getting scared) ripped him a second arse hole in front of his neighbours. I would have gone around and had words.

What is going on in a blokes head when he thinks its ok and normal to do this, to a strangers car. He knows it was a woman driver

what a tool this guy is, glad you misses gave him what for

I live near a primary school and it can be a PITA, but never has it entered my mind to get in someone car

i agree call PC Plod

I think funny if you do get a snotter and park it up and leave it when he is out, if you can be arsed or afford it

perhaps a nice van outside wiht video equipment to watch the nutter ?

i guess local skip hire, cab and pizza firms will be bussy for a while wink

It's a TWOC and with no insurance he'd be looking at at least 6 points on his licence. If he admitted it, he'd probably get a caution but if that was my car, I'd be prosecuting him.

Possibly the staff from the special needs school need to decide whether he is just an aggressive idiot, or whether he has his own mental health problem, such as OCD which makes him behave this way?

On balance he's probably just a tt.

He sounds insane, do wonder what else he potentially could do the next time.
Time for strong worded chat from someone...would he listen though?
