Do you look in other peoples' cars?
Discussion
When walking around?
I'm always fascinated to see how much crap people accumulate. Also, I try to spot incongruous CDs - the Best of Acker Bilk in an WRX STI Impreza, or Bangin' House Choons Vol 87 in a Rover 75, that sort of thing.
It's like a little peek into the mind of someone else.
Yes, I know this probably marks me out as some kind of pervert.
Nothing new there, then.

Sort of along the same lines as this. I used to do car valeting at Centre Parcs when I was younger through the summer holidays. When one day I had to valet a Mercedes ML, which was in desperate need of a hoover. So there I was minding my own business when a guy I worked with, flicked on the dvd head unit and a hardcore porno came on. Handing the keys back to this fairly middle aged man was really awkward. I like to think he put the DVD in on purpose, but I very much doubt it.

As any fule kno, a glass hammer would be of little use. A metal hammer is the correct tool for the job.

Having had to gain access to cars with the keys locked inside them before - a centre punch to the corner of the glass is infinitely more effective than a hammer/brick/metal pipe.
Unrelated to that, yes I do find myself rooting through all manner of ephemera when trying to find service books etc. Very rarely does anything interesting ever come up. In over a decade of doing it, just the one pair of less-than-fresh ladies undergarments were seen.
If there is a little tin of sweets, of course it is the done thing to liberate one...

I've found £20k and a shotgun in various PX's over the years...

You'd be amazed how many do.If it's true though the person in question is a
for 'accidently' dropping the balance slip. When working for Lloyds TSB, I spoke to many doddery old biddies with 3 or 4 million in their accounts earning 0.1% interest, but with no desire to move it anywhere.
Back on topic. Hell yes, I love a good snoop around in peoples cars.

Whoops, I also didn't answer the original question. I also enjoy snooping round other peoples cars. Most amount to a few copies of Nuts magazine and empty Lucozade bottles. Nothing to racy.
Glad I am not the only one who looks at ATM slips
.
Surprised at how many are in negative figures. Makes me feel so much better after that.

Yes, I cannot help it some times. There are the OCD ones where they look as if no one even drives the damn thing to the white van man look with old drink cans, news papers and last nights take away cartons.
