RS4 to GT-R, or DB9

I started looking for something convertible for the summer, and have probably settled on an SLK, likely the 55 AMG. This was to be in addition to my current car, an RS4, but looking around started me thinking (should I swap the RS4 for an M3 convertible, and do away with the SLK, but no, too floppy, so should I swap it for an M3 Coupe, instead, but no, I've had an M3...), and brought me to thinking of trying a GTR. It'd be used, 2 years old, so has anyone made this change, RS4 to GT-R, and what did they think?

And, as an alternative, I could forget the SLK, put the money on top of the Audi, and get a DB9. Has anyone switched from an RS4 to that, and what did they think of that move?

How do you find it for everyday use, and did you ever regret the step down in terms of the interior?

well the 2011 GT-R has a good interiour.. decide for yourself, if you can live with it.

GTR to be amazed and be stared at by males under the age of 20 not sure that's a bonus)

DB9 to be exquisit and appreciated by all.


RS4 to blend and me just another Audi driver.


My choice would be the DB9 in that position.

Well, since I bought the RS4, I've never thought of it as "just" another Audi. It's quite a special one.

NB, ... a number(4-5) of ex RS4 owners went the GTR route ... W8PMC ..comes to mind.

I know of one Ex RS4 owner that went for an Aston ...

Thanks. The Aston is ahead on looks and on meaning that I only need the one car, but the GT-R/SLK combination gives me a big step up in performance plus something perfect for playing down on Le cote d'azure.

I know, I know...

I also took an Evora S out.

Current leading choice is two used cars, GT-R and SLK AMG, with the Merc coming first, in time for the holiday.
