I live next to a long straight main road in Reading town centre in a top floor flat. In the hot weather I have the windows open (obviously) and over the years I like to think I have got quite skilled in discerning the noise of a true 'performance' car as it burbles past in traffic, to that of a stbox chavmobile with a bean can exhaust. I treat it almost like a game, and have a mental scoring system. So far the best sounding has been a Lambo Murcielago.

So, this morning, 7.45 am and I am ironing a shirt for work with all of the windows open. I hear a 'fruity' exhaust burble and make the judgement call its worth scampering to the window to identify the car.....I was not disappointed.

So, whoever decided to commute in near rush traffic this morning in one of these (same colour, although I think it may have been a Teal Replica), as per the title; I salute thee.

I saw one of those on the M25 about two years ago- it was really dangerous.

Not for the driver, but for all the people looking out of the rear window whilst doing 85mph the other way...
