Anyone ordered their Winter Tyres yet?

My set are sat in my barn, awaiting the first dregs of winter to arrive.

Bought tyres a few weeks ago and put onto spare set of rims last week.

Ready for switchover around clock change in October.

We don't need winter tyres in the UK as we dont get snow.

No - instead I've put on a set of Wanli ditchfinders, in order to hone my low-grip skills for 'driving to the conditions' and will use my regular tyres come the Winter.

The mighty PH driving god ability that this Summer training will give me will easily enable me to overcome any shortfall in grip come the icy conditions.

Me either.

They grip like a bd in the wet, and offer a more compliant ride generally.

They haven't worn particularly, either.

Few ex-German part worns with 5mm-6mm tread becoming available on the Bay of E now and again - anyone taken this route ?

Given my local coniditions, snow on the ground for a constant 6 weeks etc this year, I'm thinking about it - wont cost much more long run, as my "summer" tyres cant wear when they are not on the car...
