Air Conditioning

Now summer is here, and I still have winter tyres on the rear of my V70, (seriously), thoughts turn to cooling the cabin. How do you know that your air con is tip top? Is there a place you can measure cabin temps? Is the fact that on full chat, air con turns your wife's chest into a Braille for beginners chart, good enough? (No, no photos)

aircon periodically needs re-gassing, especially if it is not used regularly.

No idea in the UK, but its probably a cheap job for somewhere like the Thick Git Fitter's. '

Once AC is full of coolant it blows lovely and icy cold!

Kwik-Fit regassed mine for nothing (the fuse kept blowing due to faulty washer jets), so got it free. Now the electrical gremlin is fixed, the aircon is too cold, even when it's 25C outside.
