57 plate KA remote locking ?

Hi guys a little advice needed.

A friend at work has just bought An 57 plate Ka style climate, when she got the car she was told there was not remote fob with the car but they had ordered one and it would just need programming to the car when it arrived (salesman has now left dealership).

Yesterday the key arrived so she went round to get it programmed only for them to say the car sholdnt have remote locking.

So does anyone know was remote locking an optional extra only or not available at all ?

Well I had an 08 Ka and no it did not have remote central locking.

Perhaps an option, my sister has an 04 plate ka, it has remote locking but operated by buttons on the key.

My Mum has a 57 plate Ka with remote locking (only on one fob though, the other is just a standard key). It`s a Zetec Climate though.
