To be fair, while not exactly a ring weapon.. the 323 might have been decent fun around the track giving the humble owner the time of his life?

If it's a) been around it or b) even been there to visit - it's been a lot closer than many cars that wear that sticker I expect.

Indeed I used to kick ass in a Metro 1.0L around central London back in the early 90's. I would say it just takes different skills and knowledge to pilot different cars round a track. No less skill or willy size involved in fact probably more to keep yourself actually on the track!

Yup very true. My Fiat UNO 45 Fire was brilliant fun back in the day. Spent most of its life above 4000 RPM and seemed happy enough.

+1 my MX5 is pretty damn slow in a straight line and would be last at the traffic light Grand Prix.. the fun, enjoyment and skill is getting that ultimate thrill in the twisties!

Fine if, out of the cars you could have bought, you bought the interesting one. I don't understand people who say "it's not what you drive" when they rejected perfectly good petrolhead options.

Well I am and its laughable that that guy could have ever gone near the 'ring in that spam can! Of course MX-5's and the like would be fantastic there but not that automotive blamanche...

Maybe they went in a different car but wear the sticker just to say they've been? Personally i quite like the "neverbeen" sticker.
