Chris Evans v priest in his ferrari .... nooooo

Heard this at 9.20am ish this morning
Priest was in I think a GTB4
Chros said put your foot on the brake and start it up.....
He did then engine at max revs for ages (he had his foot on the throttle) lovely noise truely lovely but. Chris in despiration shouting no take that's the throttle take your foot off....
I'm sure these engines don't have rev limiters but I felt for that engine maxed out for a good 15 seconds with Chris his voice in clear despair at the damage being done.
Anyway lovely noise that v12 I don't think it's ever been asked to perform like that before.
Good on Chris Evans for his excellent charity work sure he is rich he has been lucky good for him and to let total strangers drive his cars how they like incredible.
Chris you sir are a real gent.

It was certainly a modern car as it had an engine system check, and a start button - hence why he had to put his foot on the brake before starting.

599 was lovely.
However the older cars mmm perfection.
I think I can say without any doubt (Im quite a Diesel fan) that if I had a petrol which could sound half as good as that/any of those cars I'd be ditching the diesel for all its benefits that noise would make you smile every timeyou started it up or rev'd the engine. I get no such joy out of hearing a cold diesel start up or idle and make do with the reving it but I only rev it to drive not for the noise.

Noise wasnt a sound effect - I might not have great hearing after years of P. Jam/ The Who etc, but I can assure you the noise was from the car he started up. It reved out very quickly too and was then buzzing.Sounds like a stunt to me. Sound effect of another car?

Ive seen a thread here bashing Chris E. for painting all his Ferrari's white... So what he ownes them he's getting it properly done by Ferrari and if he sells any of them the new owner can do what they like to them.
For Chris & others to allow general public to ride in their cars and drive them however they like... to share stunning super rare cars all for charity is exceptional.
