DS3 brake fault thread?

I was reading it this morning and just did a search to see it has been removed? I was quite interested to hear the outcome as I really fancy a DS3 of some description.

Anyone know what happened?

I was about to post that it all sounded a bit odd, but it had been closed as i hit submit!
OP says his mate was driving his dad's car and brakes go on and someone hits them in the back.
Cue pic of mangled car.
Then new poster member says it is HIS car that HE was driving,(so is he the dad?) and the party that mangled the back was his mother!! An interesting fact that the OP conveniently missed.
So I was asking was the new poster the OP poster's mates dad, or the OP's mate.

I suspect the story was getting a bit muddied, and "dad" could potentially see two sets of insurance rocketting, or questions over fronting etc being asked, so someone asked for it to disappear! But that may be the cynic in me, it could be a coincidence. But it did sound an odd story tbh.

BTW, nothing in Goolgle cache for it weirdly enough.
