I can see the point of these cars and would much rather have one of these than an Audi Q7 for nipping around town.

It would be the Fiat for me too, not a fan of the Cygnet at all.

My Dad loaned a friend a Ford Ka whilst his Porsche was being fixed.

His wife drives an X5 with their one child in it.

They were both shocked to discover that for their usual short trips they both go to grab the Ka keys rather than the X5.

Fiat for me too, but I'm rather hoping to have drive in a Cygnet this weekend, so I reserve the right to change my mind on this one!

The interior does look great & I'm looking forward to seeing it first hand. It should look great though - it's pretty much no expense spared.

The Cygnet if it was a town car, none of them if it wasn't.

The thing is, I'd take the fiat, as I said. But the interior of the Cygnet really is as good as any Aston Martin, or any other top drawer luxury bespoke car out there. So, ignoring the price tag, why shouldn't little city cars have those interiors available too? It;s for a city. You don;t need the performance, so why not have the luxury?

After having a nosey around an Aston dealers a while back and we ended up talking about the cygnet and I can agree with the idea of it just being a small luxury car, although it doesn't really fit as an Aston Martin. They said part of the idea is that the top of the range things always seem to be stiff suspension performance rather than 'luxury, or comfortable or whatever' small cars.
So although I don't like the outside especially, an aygo appeals to a degree anyway so it's a winner with the interior!
