hi all.
Does anyone know the whereabouts of my old Mk 11 escort? reg number YEC 228W as many cars gone by the wayside, I shouldnt have sold it. It went over to a great chap in Omagh N Ireland about 5 years ago. A right nice bloke but I have lost his number. I looked on the DVLA website and its currently unlicensed, but not disposed or destroyed.......any help would be lovely just to know would be good.

If it lasted that long there's a good chance it's still around. Maybe off the road for a rebuild? If you still have enough of the details (VIN, etc.) you could look up its MOT history online and see if it's had a test recently. Owners club? Forums?

Last time I checked the only one of my cars that has been scrapped was the newest - woman who bought it off me wrote it off

Its not on the the Motor Insurance Database.

I checked on the dvla website. It's not currently insured but also not certified destroyed. Good news I hope. Went to a nice guy in omagh. N Ireland. Lisanelly park addresses if anyone knows him. Name of Norman.
