Hey guys

new to the forum but have heard all about it befor from other sites, really im here because i was told to ask if their were anyone on here that would be interested in an old old K reg VW Beetle i will post some pics later but to be honest it is ideal for a restoration project or for spares, basically my nan died last monday and the car is my dads its been in the garage for about 25yrs i always hoped to find the time to restore it myself but have never had the time, but rather than it go for scrap i thought id ask on here if anyone was interested

can e-mail you direct as im not allowed for the first 24hrs coz im a new member, could you give me your direct email address and ill mail you pictures just got back actually from getting it out the garage it a real shame the interior is mint bit of rust on the boot lid and spots on the bonnet and passenger wing but other than that the body work for somthing this old aint bad

Pictures from underneath are a must. If it's solid, I'd probably wipe it with a chamois and drive it to work.

If that is as tidy as it looks you will get good money for it.

Pop it on Volkszone and you should get a couple of grand if its solid.

Sad thing is that something like that is quite likely to be good for "rat look" in which case someone would need to make it more rusty.
