The £30,000 Bentley Continental GT has arrived !!

Been seeing a few of these beasts go for around the £30,000 mark lately. That seems to be phenominal value for a car of this nature. Most are the early 2004 models with around 50k miles on them. Few seem to have full Bentley Service history too.
SO who owns one of these beasts and what are they like to live with on a day to day basis?
What are the service schedules like on them and how much do the different types of services cost?
I guess there are many people out there who could afford the £30k but then be f
ked when they see a £5000 service bill - is that true for a car like this? Is that what can be expected to be payed for a service?

My old boss had one as a company car and while I can't remember the details I do remember seeing a service bill that was 3.5k so I think they definately have the capacity for eyewatering moments!SO who owns one of these beasts and what are they like to live with on a day to day basis?

Expensive to very expensive if things go wrong. Also 11-15mpg might seem a tad 'heavy' for the average family What are the service schedules like on them and how much do the different types of services cost?
The P1 article in EVO stated they were reliable and cheap to run compared to their other cars:

I assume that some of these eye-watering service costs are from main dealers. Does anyone know how the costs compare with a good independent Bentley specialist ?
I ask as when I had a Freelander 2, my main Land Rover main dealer is also a Bentley main dealer and they charged extortionate Land Rover servicing prices so I can only imagine what they charged teh unsuspecting Bentley owner !

My car's 40k service wasn't that far off the Bentley's price, above ... and mine isn't exactly a luxo-barge-waftmobile.(Service interval every 10,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever the sooner)
