BMW crash at goodwood

Had a good look at the Alpina as it was parked next to us after crashing.

The driver was on the inside of the bend and there was no way at all he would have got round at the speed he was going.

Doesn't look too bad though eh?

Classic over estimating the grip levels at Goodwood and being a showman without the talent to suite.



Only cosmetic, suspension looked ok. Although I havn't seen underneath.

Airbags off(all front), front panels twisted, inner wing had a cheeky kink in it.

The passenger in it had won a raffle for a trip up the hill. Didn't seem so much the speed more the track position.

Yup it was then because we were at the start and it was red flagged and the ambulance shot off up the hill

Happened at Molecomb at about 0910, I witnessed it.

Hope the drive is ok, took them ages to get him out and went off in an ambulance, although could have been due to being embedded in hay bails.

I took the B5 up the hill very quickly on Thursday, I don't know what line the B3S driver took but it was certainly the wrong one
