Spanish version of the E60.

Does it seem over prced to anybody on here? Have spoken to the dealer and he says it is on sale or return from a private seller - nothing wrong with that I suppose.

I know Parkers is not the oracle but it lists it much closer to £10,000. Big engined saloon in this climate can't be a great seller (but it benefits all us PHers who don't care about economy!).

Well, it's priced the same as a similar mileage AUC with an auto gearbox, so yes on the face of it overpriced - but I guess there's not many manuals about.

Overpriced - I bought my 545i 3 years ago with only 30,000 miles on it for less than that. Not an MSport, but I'd say that's realistically only worth 10k. It's a manual too, which is highly undesirable in these cars.

Edit: also says "sat nav" but doesn't show a picture and doesn't specify that it's professional sat nav so it probably isn't.

Which actually knocks another 700-1k off the value imo.

Thanks for the info so far.

I appreciate that the majority come with an auto box but I am a great fan of the manual and they are rare so I wish to pounce whilst I can.

I think an email to suggest that it is overpriced is in order - the dealer can then speak directly with the owner and see if he will negotiate.

In my experience dealers dont take email serioulsy. Call them - or better, go and see it if it isnt too far away.

It is a difficult call. Auto's are more popular, but manuals are rare. So if someone wants a manual....

As said above, check it is the proper pro widescreen Nav with mapping which fills the middle area, not the poxy business version.

If you call BMW with the reg they will give you the full spec.

It looks about £10k to me, depending on the sat-nav fitted.

You may prefer the manual shift but with this type of car 95% of buyers don't. You need the price to reflect this as at some stage you will have to sell it again.
