DVLA car check confusion

Just checking up on a potential purchase and the DVLA car tax checker says the following, confused as to why its saying date of first reg then also date of first reg with DVLA?????

Date of First Registration with DVLA 08 09 2010
Date of First Registration 04 07 2007

British Forces? Purchased car abroad then bought back into the UK... happens a fair bit.

Does when your spending £70k plus on a car that's not a uk spec GT3 RS. The people in question eventually admitted that it's a grey import from bloody Hong Kong!!!!!

and 3 years older than they claim?

No it was originally registered in 2007 hong kong then registered in the UK 2010. Porsche dealers wouldn't go near this car for warranties etc and for that sort of money I can find a proper C16 UK car.

Would they go near it for an NI, Isle of Man, Channel Isles, Cyprus car with same spec as UK?

As long as it's a uk spec car can't see the problem but when your spending this sort of money any ambiguity you simply walk away..

I once bought a car for £6.64 and that turned out to be the 3 owner Uk spec car that the 3rd Owner said it was, and all the faults he described were exactly as he described.
