Someone actually bought an Aston IQ!

On the way to work this morning a saw a horrid looking yellow thing in the rear view mirror, at first I thought it was a barried KIA or similar but as it got closer, Aston Toyota IQ. I didn't think anyone would actually buy or use one, this wasn't in London either but out in the countryside. They really are pig ugly.

i got overtook my one on the m40 other day. all i could think was "seriously!! you brought that" are they not the best part of £25k?

Have you seen the interior? maybe all they want is some top drawer luxury in a car they mostly drive in the city? Don't really see the problem. If it means Aston can keep making other cars, what's the problem?

I don't understand what people have against the idea of a properly luxury small car. I can't think of a better car for driving around in a big city.

Yep. At least it's based on a reliable solid little car, and not a frenchie, too!

Doesnt even look that terrible, when you compare it to the new mini or whatever.

I love them but I might be biased I love all Minis/MINIS. I really quite like the idea of a small Aston a lot of money but then aren't the big astons? when you compare them to other cars like the XK etc. You pay for what you get

I also saw an Aston/Toyota IQ thingy this morning on my way to Didcot, it was yellow/gold/orange and didn't look too bad from the front. Am I right in thinking they're only producing it to lower their average CO2 emissions?

Buy a Toyota badged IQ and take it to a trim shop to have it clad in finest hide for half the price?

The Cygnet is growing on me

I have seen one at Aston Martin Of Derby and I thought it looked quite good.

As others have said, if you have a DBS/One-77/Virage etc etc you wouldn't be wanting to park it in a city but you want a small car that looks special inside and out. I have never seen the interior until now but I quite like it and I like the Ipod dock.

The price is a bit steep at £30k and what I am going to say is a sweeping staement but if you can afford an Aston sports car you could afford a Cygnet aswell.

I also read somewhere that if you buy a new Aston Martin DB9/DBS/Virage/Rapide/One-77 then they will give you a Cygnet for free. Or was that just a rumour?
