Can you be dropped off at Silverstone F1?

Hi, looking for some advice, going to F1 this weekend for the first time and wondered if it's possible to get my missus to drop me off there? We have a parking permit but my mate and I would like to have a few too many drinks at the after party Saturday night so didn't want to drive. We are staying in Banbury so not far but too far to walk. I know the traffic flow is changed so is it possible to be dropped off and picked up later that evening?

Why would Silverstone be any different to anywhere else?

Ask her to drop you off at one of the park and rides. You won't need any tickets as they never check

The main a43 this year is only for event traffic both ways, so there are four lanes in each direction. I think you will have a problem, suggest you obtain advise from the first steward you see en route

Get yourself dropped of at Whittlebury golf course. Its about 1/2 a mile walk to the circuit through thier camp site.

Almost right! One-way system has functioned for at least the past four years. A43 is one-way into the circuit in the morning and one-way out of the circuit after lunch. The only vehicles which can use the exit lanes are emergency services and park-and-ride buses.

Once you are committed to the A43, I don't think you will be able to go anywhere other than the circuit for the duration.
