You're selling a car, do you leave your PH sticker on?

Try and get the sticker in the pic for the advert on PH and then everywhere else try and get an angle where it is less obvious ?

How do you explain it when people ask what that symbol is? I said it was a car nerds website I'm a member of. Would "enthusiasts" sound better? Or make it sound all Max Power?

I wouldn't necessarily care what the Max Power reader might think... come to my house in a Barried Corsa or Saxo and you're not getting a drive.

I decided to remove the 24" smiley from the bonnet when I sold my car. The new owner promptly bought one to put it back on! If only he'd have let me know before I spent ages getting it back to standard! (it was still in full LM livery just before it went on sale)

I left the PH sticker on when selling my Impreza - the garage who I eventually px'ed it with, having got tired of "yeh lemme rag your scooby for you blad", not only took the PH sticker off, but also every other sticker on the car, including the STi stickers on the front bumper and doors (they're a factory default).

Like people have said. If they ask I explain that it's car enthusiast club and try to geek it up a bit.

I did

2000 Mondeo 2.0 zetec mk2 of which is local and still sports them

2001 Peugeot 406 hdi of which i left them on as well

I left mine on my Saab 900 newer shape, not a very PH car but the buyer never asked about it and it was still on it when I saw it nearly a year later, in fact he'd put turbo alloys and leather interior so it looked a bit more apt!

depends on the car - if its an enthusiasts car, leave it on. if not, take it off. Plus, are you more likely to get viewings from pistonheads, or another advertising channel?

No idea if the dealer I chopped it in at removed it though. I can't imagine many muggles knowing what PistonHeads was.

Well, I've got two on it, if it doesn't sell on its current listing, I'll take one off and list again... If not that time then I'll take t'other one off. Then I'll have given the enthusiast market their shot and the old biddies can have it after!
