Rubbish reason for starting a thread..

Dropping things down the side of your seat in your car and then knowing you'll never get them back without taking the seat of the runners..

Dropped two pounds today down there and managed to get them jammed and they will probably end up with the new owner!

My favourite light has been lost to the car too, just cant anything down the side to get it.

Sorry about the st thread just thought alot of people could share the pain.

Quite. I never bother with anything below a fiver now, just leave any shrapnel on the counter of the shop/pub.

If it bothers you that much, whip the seat out.

I changed the seats in my '5 and found a few quid, changed them again and found some more, took them out for something else and found even more! I almost see it as a 0% interest savings account!

lost a £2 coin in the subaru legacy it wouldnt have bothered me if it hadnt dropped into the runner so made noise with every acceleration and brake action

You could lend me the car and I'll go through Dover with it onto the ferry. You'll get everything back.

I don't know why it is, but I can't get through Dover without the car being seriously searched. I've had the (fixed) seats removed by customs at Dover - found loads of things I didn't know was there (nothing dodgy!). They even put it nicely back together.

Every time I buy a 'new' to me car, I get under/have the seats out to check for freebies. Record so far is ~£7 + an unopened pack of victory V's in a car that cost me £225.

In an Elise the passenger seat if fixed to the floor, no runners. When I finally got around to taking the seat out of the car, I found all sorts under there. Cash, credit cards, CD's, sunglasses etc
