how much cost/work hours to fit a towbar?

hey gang

i have a xsara hdi 3dr coupe - year 2000

i love the car and want to fit a towbar

im living and workin germany now, the car is a lhd, bought it here, and i want to fit a towbar to her

i have got quoets that start at 500e, parts, tax labour, all in

is this right, or are these lads takin the piss?

new parts btw, the cable is just for a small trailer not for caravanning, and the towbar itself is from some cheap crow, - not bosal or thule or anything

any help wood be great!

I recently paid £185 to have a bar and electrics fitted to my Focus

Had a number of towbars fitted to various cars over the years by the best firm in Birmingham. Never paid above £200 to date on a Volvo S40, Chrysler PT Cruiser, Freelander, Citroen Xsara and others. I tow a lot of trailers with cars on.

I think this is overpriced. Shop around.

depends on if they have to take the bumper off to attach some of the bits and pieces

£382.50 according to witter site, time varies car to car, think it took around 3 hours for my old 3 series (not 335d or mapped)
