Help with Buying

I have recenty emailed someone on piston heads selling a car, and there return email said that they lived out of rth ecountry and would come to the UK to sell the car. Any ideas how i can be sure that its a genuine sale, money is tight and i dont want to be stung. Even if i do a HPI and visual checks, is there anything else i can do whilst still in the discussion stages

Yeah sounds like a total scam.

I am trying to sell my car, and in the last week have had 5 emails from scammers all wanting my paypal details so they can buy the car as they work abroad and cant come to see it. Gets really frustrating!!
